236. House Calendars Committee
We call for changes to the House Rules that require the House Calendars Committee to vote on a bill within 14 days of receipt, or it is automatically put on the calendar. We also support automatic setting of a bill on the calendar within seven days if it is cosponsored by three-fifths of House members. We call for votes on each bill individually that is not set on the calendar, rather than killing a slate of bills at once.
