127. Foreign Charter Schools
Charter schools should have accountability and transparency to local parents, taxpayers, and the State of Texas, as do current public schools. We oppose public funding of charter schools that receive money from foreign entities. We urge the Texas Legislature to enact legislation that requires charter school operators and board members to be eligible Texas voters.
