Texas Property tax code chapter 6, should be amended to specify that a person shall be ineligible to serve on an appraisal district board of directors if that person or their spouse is:

A.       a member of taxing entity within the district by employment or through contract with the taxing entity

B.        is an employee of the comptroller 

This shall apply to urban districts with a population of more than 75,000.
